Its where they colide with pop culture that Juneau Projects are most effective. Cut yourself off from the world by donning headphones and you hear their spooked version of the pop song who's chorus goes 'Do you think you're better off alone?'. The vocal is punctuated by whooshing sweeps of electronic sound - apparently, treated versions of the bleeps of mobile-phone keypad. By turns aggessive and elegiac, this is pungent stuff.
